How many cans does it take to make a meal? Austin Food Bloggers Alliance have answers.

February 27th, 2014 § 0 comments

Each month, the members of the Austin Food Bloggers Alliance are challenged to make meals around a theme or ingredient. This month’s theme is, you guessed it, canned foods! The bloggers are not only sharing low-cost, healthy recipes with their audience, but they’re also donating recipes to the Food Bank’s CHOICES nutrition education program.

Last Saturday, they visited our warehouse in South Austin to take a tour, learn how we still use recipes that members donated in the past and try on our CANfascinators.

Bloggers have until the end of the month to complete the challenge and the full list of recipes will be posted in March.

Below are some of the recipes the bloggers have created so far.  We look forward to reading about their delicious creations in the coming week.
