Gourmet food, unique drinks, and delicious desserts.

All this and more can be yours next week during the GO TEXAN Restaurant Round Up! From July 23rd – 29th, dozens of restaurants across Texas will be serving special Texas menu items, with a percent of the proceeds going to food banks all across the state.

GO TEXAN is an association of the Texas Department of Agriculture that promotes Texas products, culture, and communities. The signature Texas logo indicates products that were grown or produced in Texas, and helps to promote local businesses and agriculture.

For the past five years, the GO TEXAN Restaurant Round Up has helped promote local restaurants alongside Texas-grown produce and meat, with the proceeds going to help feed hungry Texans. Whatever food you’re craving, there’s a restaurant for you! And most restaurants have special deals for next week only, such as a $13 three course-lunch at Garrido’s, or a $2.50 pint special at Opal Divine’s on Wednesday.

In addition, GO TEXAN is hosting a raffle for a variety of great eats and drinks from local businesses, including wine tours and restaurant gift certificates.

So next week, don’t forget to enjoy some great food for a great cause. Feed yourself and hungry Texans at the same time! And follow #txdineout on Twitter to find out about great deals in your area.

Go out. Go eat. Go Texan.
